Review of Rabid (1977) by Christopher S — 24 Sep 2010
Early effort from Cronenberg is an uneven, but entertaining B horror film. The pacing is awkward, and the performances and production values are lackluster. But there are enough lurid moments and early elements of Cronenberg's body-horror ethos to keep it moving.
Fun, but Cronenberg would go on to improve vastly as a filmmaker.
