To simply say this film had a beautiful soundtrack would do it a grave disservice. It is beautifully shoot, the characters (good and bad) are ones you care for and portrayed remarkably well. But the music is haunting and atmospheric, it complements the film and in no way intrudes.
A gentle, road movie, a period piece and a wonderful family drama.
(and with the credits rolling I see that the music.......is Peter Gabriel!!!!!!!!).
