A wonderful little movie, based on a true story. At the end of the movie you see the actual women who had this experience as girls. Shows their courage and resourcefulness as they walk 1200 miles across the uninviting Australian continent to get back to their home.
I was floored at the racism and cruelty so rampant in Australia so recently. So I guess the Americans didn't have a monopoly on racism! Try to find and watch this gem. You won't be sorry.
