Review of Rabbit-Proof Fence (2002) by Eklektik E — 25 Feb 2011
I enjoy this film both for the performances and for bringing to light the true story of not only these individuals but the plight of many bi-racial Australian children which I believe most of the world may not have been aware of.
However, the determination of the main character against all odds to return to her rightful family and such determination from a child, no less, was the greatest asset of this film. I would recommend this film, if nothing else, to help others educate themselves about the past and about the dangers of social engineering.
