Kidman gives a great performance opposite Eckhart, in this heart wrenching drama. After losing their 4 year old son in an accident, they must deal with their grief in their own ways. Eckhart goes on with life, not wanting to rid himself of all the memories that surround him, while Kidman chooses to rid the home of every trace that the child was ever there.

The emotions run high but stop short, which kept this movie from being as powerful as it could have been. Still worth a look, this movie seems to develop slow but getting a sense of the characters grief is paramount for the story to work.
