Review of Rabbit Hole (2010) by Anna B — 15 Oct 2015
Kidman actually manages to convey some emotion (and a real, fascinating character) through the botox mask, a rare sight these days. God, but seriously, why has she done that to her face? Anyway, this is really good, quite elegant in its depiction of grief without being grimdark misery porn (until the third act, at least, though the turn into crying montages is more disappointing than destructive).
Dianne Weist is wonderful.
