Review of Rabbit Hole (2010) by Cole M — 04 Jan 2012
Well done drama. Had shades of what I'm doing with the movie I'm making, but thankfully both this and my film didn't feel like copying the other, but presenting a real life tragedy with grace, heartfelt sympathy, stress, and a gentle care and humor to the situation.
My film more focuses on this young, unwedded couple and how they meet, have all these promises and big ideas, but have to put it on hold for this child that comes into their world, only four years later have her be struck by a car, and dealing with that loss. This it's more a successful, married couple grieving over the accidental death of their son and trying to find meaning and piece back together their lives. The wife he confronts the teen responsible for her son's death. And the husband struggles with being faithful to his wife . So, as you can see there's differences.
