Review of Rabbit Hole (2010) by Cancelled U — 10 Jun 2011
Closure. Everyone who has lost someone knows how much closure can bring comfort and happiness back in their life. Rabbit Hole tells the story of parents who seek continuity after their son's death. The movie is real, the screenplay is brilliant, and as always it leaves us depressed. But on top of any of that, I am all for depressed movies with happy ending, to see someone's achieved it, to feel that there is life after the tragedy, the hope after the grieve is indeed a beautiful thing. Nicole Kidman is one of the most talented actress out there (minus her botox), and Aaron Eckhart has already won so many attention after his TDK period, this is just another trophy in his acting cabinet.
8.5/10.
