Review of Quiz Show (1994) by Steven B — 09 Oct 2008
Brillian film. I loved the frenetic pace of the cinematography, which captured the pressure of being under the lights of a game show. I thought Ralph Fiennes was great as Charles Van Doren. His poker face and his ability to hide his guilt for such a long period of time was outstanding.
John Turturro was equally captivating as Herb Stempel, showing us just what a dupe and schmuck that he was. Absoulute kudos, though, goes to Christopher McDonald's dead-on impersonation of Jack Barry.
