Review of Quills (2000) by Dee Perfection Of Chaos :) — 12 May 2008
It's not entirely accurate in its portrayal of the Marquis de Sade, or of his biography, but at the heart of this brilliantly written and acted film is the indignation of the artist whose imagination is suppressed.
It may be "arty," but it's entertainingly tasteless when it needs to be.
