Review of Quick Change (1990) by Andrei N — 09 Aug 2009
With a talented comic cast and an irreverent script, one genuinely could expect that this movie could be better. Somehow, though, it never really seems to add up. Most of the small scenes end up being throwaways; even though a few manage to mount genuine tension, they're rarely funny enough to warrant inclusion in a comedy, particularly one as devoid of belly laughs as this one.
I imagine the humor could find its niche with some people, but despite my love of Bill Murray, I couldn't muster any laughs.
