Review of Quest for Camelot (1998) by Cris L — 25 May 2008
When it started I was sure it was a 70's movie because of its poor animation then I found out it was released in the 90's!There are some GC scenes that make the other ones look even more awful.
..And the songs! The character's voices didn't fit with the singing voices and their lips didn't move properly.'The Prayer' seems good due to Celine Dion's voice otherwise is not memorable at all.
Despite its pretty impressive cast this movie is quite dull.Gary Oldman was great, isn't he always? But why is his character a knight of The Round Table in the first place? Garrett is wounded and then healed in a matter of seconds with some magic leaves, how come he's still blind if that cure is so powerful? Then Excalibur cured king Arthur's broken arm and reversed Ruber's evil magic but Garrett continued to be blind.
..I know it's supposed to be for kids but are kids that stupid these days?
