Review of Queen of the Desert (2015) by Frances H — 12 Jun 2016
Better than the critics (who have given mainly negative reviews) say it is. I found learning about this rather amazing woman very interesting and informative. Nicole Kidman does a pretty good job of Gertrude Bell with reasonable supporting actors.
The story could have delved into the Bell's motivations a bit more and with a bit more tension. But it is an adequate movie and worth seeing.
