A more 'traditional' vampire story based on the books of Anne Rice. "Queen of the Damned" is eerie and violent. It stars Stuart Townsend as the main vampire, and the singer Aaliyah (R.
I.P) as the vicious vampire the title describes. There are a lot of Australians in this movie, and I'm pretty sure it was filmed here, at least in part.
