Queen of the damned tells the story of lestat a vampire who as been around for centuries and centuries when the film starts out lestat gets out of his tomb and goes around the town and kills a man and meets a gothic heavy metal rock band which at first the band's members dont believe him at first until when they decide to make lestat the lead singer of the band and which the band gets more popular and famous thanks to lestat but when queen akasha comes back from the dead the vampire queen comes to a club which is a place for vampires to hang around but when she shows up she kills the vampires and burns the building down into flames but after lestat is still having concerts which earlier on the film he kills two women from england and while fans are awaiting to see lestat and the band lestat meets an old friend from a long time ago who is also another vampire because lestat during his song's lyrics the news claims that his music ressurects other fellow vampires things start to happen but when the vampire queen kills the other vampire people then after that has happen after the concert while the vampires were killed by the queen lestat and aksaha fall in love and so after that the film's camera shows a bunch dead bodies of people and akasha tries to kill more but ends up killing more a few more vampires then after a mahret tries to destroy the queen then suceessfully kills the vampire queen and the queen gets turned into stone and blows into peices then after that maharet gets turned into stone after that the rest of the survivors including lestat and mahret's neice which a reporter live and at the end are holding hands around the england sidewalk nightime highly recommended for any horror fan and a great horror gem.

When the film had opened on february 22 2002-february 24 2002 weekend the film opened at #1 but before the film was released to theaters rapper and actress aaliyah had died in a plane crash in the bahamas in august of 2001 a month before the september 11th tragedy. the queen of the damned is not only a great film but has a great soundtrack and great music by Korn's johnathan davis.
