Review of Queen of Katwe (2016) by Kyle M — 24 Jul 2017
A fresh, uncommon story told in a unique delivery within a clichéd-ridden genre of sports by formula and the expected preferring tone from the distributing taste. The spirited element of being engrossed into the sport of focus (literally) may not be clear as it nicely demonstrates more than just the basic understanding, while fueling up the dramatic half when connecting to (culturally-touched) real-life situations. That being complimented, it's a fine balance between a pass time sport and lifestyle reality, which both are led by very good performances by the cast, generally in particular from David Oyelowo and Lupita Nyong'o along with the youthful spirit of Madina Nalwanga. (A-).
