Review of Quatermass and the Pit (1967) by Vic B — 06 Nov 2007
In Lipstick Traces, Griel Marcus cites this film as one of the best horror film/sci fi's made--one that reflects the bleakest concepts of the situationists. You don't have to be that highbrow to appreciate it: any film that has Martians buried in the London Underground is bound to be great.
It terrified me as a kid, and still creeps me out.
