Review of Quatermass and the Pit (1967) by Pamela D — 18 May 2009
If you like British 1960's sci- fi and horror, you'll love it. If you don't you'll probably think it's dated with cheesy special effects. I'm a fan, and I personally think it stands the test of time.
I thought the effects were pretty good for the era, and best of all, NO CGI. A very creative creep-out. Even forty years later, it still beats the hell out of utter crap offered today such as Resident Evil.
