Review of Quatermass and the Pit (1967) by Michael B — 02 Oct 2010
Classic British Sci-Fi of the 1960s, complete with obviously rubber aliens, special effects that cost less than a box of Chinese fireworks, and a dab of olde world sexism thrown in for free. Utterly brilliant, though, and just goes to show that scary films requre quality actors and plot far more than they require Lucasfilm-level SFX budgets!
