This is an intelligent, hopeful movie about the residents of Beecham House, a home for retired musicians who are trying to save their home for another year with their fund-raising gala that celebrates Verdi's birthday.
The great cast of main characters includes Maggie Smith and Billy Connelly. Playing the other elderly musicians in the house are real musicians. Good music and good humor, a story about community, meaning and love.
