Review of Quartet (2012) by Melanie B — 23 Apr 2014
Quartet is an excellent film. It is about the annual concert to celebrate Verdi's birthday is disrupted by the arrival of Jean to a home for retired musicians. Maggie Smith and Michael Gambon give amazing performances.
The screenplay is well written. Dustin Hoffman did a great job directing this movie. I enjoyed watching this motion picture because of the humor and drama. Quartet is a must see.
