Review of Quartet (2012) by Wayne M — 22 Apr 2013
Quartet brings a joyous view of musicians whose gifts have faded as they have matured, yet their hearts remain alive. Filled with the passion of life, of friendship and the joy of living each day. This film brings hope for all of us who enjoy the passage of time, knowing that our gifts are fragile, temporary and on loan.
The delightful ensemble (with special kudos to Billy Connolly), shares their gifts while basking in the moment to free them from the past, and the result is simply charming.
