Review of Quartet (2012) by Jim S — 28 Dec 2013
Even though it's less than 2 hours long, it seemed to take forever. It's beautifully photographed, with lots of lingering shots of the pastoral English country side. The direction by Dustin Hoffman is soft, and the humor is the same.
Lots of great acting from a who's who of the British geriatric set. This movie reminded me of my mother, god rest her soul, because she would have loved it.
