Review of Quantum of Solace (2008) by Richard L — 13 Dec 2014
The movie suffers from a script that suffered from a writers strike, but everything Daniel Craig brought to Casino Royale remains intact in Quantum of Solace, including physicality, emotion, and presence. Olga Kurylenko as Camille makes a wonderful addition to the canon as someone, like Bond, out for revenge.
The mystery of Quantum is not resolved, but the mythology building is welcome, allowing the events of the first movie to continue resonating in the second.
