Review of Quantum of Solace (2008) by Nicholas S — 02 Dec 2012

Brilliant follow up to Casino Royale. Daniel Craig's Bond was totally dark and ruthless in this movie! Also it's the closest we've seen Bond to the character in the books. The only thing I didn't like about the movie was the bloody shaky camera shots!! The story was average but it served it purpose.

Instead of the Spectare organisation, we've got Quantum. It looks like they are putting Daniel Craig on the same path that Sean Connery went down just in a more realistic and re-vamped way. Very interested to see where the story goes in the next movie.

Also David Arnolds score was brilliant as per usual especially the music leading upto the opera scene. Don't expect any of the one-liners and small jokes in this movie!!! This one's for the Men!
