The action is alright, but the movie tries too hard to be more than it is and at the end of the day all the symbols and metaphors fall flat on their face; It's a james bond movie, lets just leave it to that.
Aslo, I have to get this off my chest - 'quantum of solace'. Ugh. What? Really? It sounds so scientific and cool and mysterious until you realize it's just gimmicky nonsense.
