Review of Quantum of Solace (2008) by Derek F — 16 Nov 2015
Due to the writer's strike, the film is underwritten but Marc Forster still manages to leave an indie arthouse mark with a unique directing style filled with beautiful shots. It's fast, sometimes hard to distinguish, but scenes like the opening car chase and the Tosca Opera really shine.
I like how the film has a believable villain, a realistic plot, takes on real world issues and resolves loose threads from Casino Royale.
