Review of Quadrophenia (1979) by Ed A — 04 Apr 2009
Enjoyed the opening hour. I thought it captured the excitement of teenage years and your first experiences of parties, booze, the opposite sex, etc. However, I thought it gradually lost it's sense of direction and ended badly.
Watching it, though, is like a big game of 'Spot The Future Star' with early appearances from the likes of Ray Winstone, Phil Daniels, Sting, John Altman, Leslie Ash, etc, etc, etc. Bound to appeal to anyone with a vague interest in Mod cuture.
