Review of Pushing Tin (1999) by Adam S — 30 Jun 2008
The take away...Who would want a career as an air-traffic controller? Seems like a terribly stressful job. Anyway, good acting in this film. Billy Bob always delivers, and once again plays a character that is a little off.
Jolie sounds funny with a bit of a southern accent. Cate Blanchett is almost unrecognizable as Cusack's wife. The film starts off interesting and slowly becomes less so. The last 20 minutes are blah, and taught me that all life's problems can be fixed if I allow myself to be thrown through the air like a rag-doll.
