Review of Pusher (2012) by Martin C — 12 Oct 2012
A strong contender for the non-feel good film of the year. This strips away all the on-screen glamour and style that is usually depicting when showing this seedy side of the criminal world. Although it has Orbital providing the soundtrack this is used to enhance the hectic pace, and distortion produced by the life-style forced on the characters in the film.
Not an enjoyable experience - but it isn't supposed to be, and in that the film works really well.
