Review of Push (2009) by Lord-Xaffax — 15 Jul 2017
Cult classic...or...it probably will be will become one. Like movies as "Cloud Atlas" and "Watchmen" it has a complicated storyline and if you don't want to put the attention and energy in to figure out how it sticks together it will not make much sense.
However if you do really give it a chance it is a quite special little movie. It feels like Michael Mann meets Philip K.Dick. The movie simply is a visual feast. There is no shot that isn't composed to perfection using the Hong Kong backdrop as a character in the movie.
If you love science fiction, then this one should be in your collection, because it's one of those special movies you'll pull out and watch again every once in a while. Or at least I do.
