I'm a huge Will Smith fan and rarely find one of his movies to be anything but great. The Pursuit Of Happiness isn't terrible by any means. If anything, it's a fantastic story made into a very very emotional film and done really well. A definite rollercoaster ride of emotions. a guaranteed tear jerker.
The thing is, this is the kind of movie you watch once (and applaude at the end) but once it's over you never wanna see it again. Not because the film is bad, but because the story is so depressing that you can't bear to go through that again.
I applaud Will Smith for a fantastic performance. A tremendously great story well worth seeing. (if you have the emotional fortitude) I loved it, but I don't ever plan on watching it again.
