Review of Pursuit of Happyness (2005) by Jackson C — 12 Mar 2012
A mesmerizing performance from both Smiths. Does exactly what it is intended, stirring audience's emotions while presenting a legitimate story of a struggling father. Will Smith's acting makes Chris Gardner such a colourful and likeable character.
Not for a second are audiences ever taken away from their emotion. I especially liked the very last scene, where his success is never depicted. Happiness is not from the end result, but the fruition of your pursuit.
