Easily the best Chinese action film I've seen. Operation Mekong is able to tell a true story in a style that is more reminiscent to Hollywood blockbusters than the typical half-hearted sappy Chinese war films we are used to seeing.
It is true, it is action packed, nerve wrecking with a little bit of heart. I doubt all the reenactment are true, but a film like this truly shows the growth of the Chinese movie industry.
