The Pursuit of Happyness is definitely a movie worth watching. Based on a true story, the film charts the inspirational journey of Chris Gardner, played by Will Smith, from homelessness to Wall Street success.
A devoted father, Chris Gardner struggles against overwhelming obstacles, while single-handedly raising his son, played by Jaden Smith, to provide a better life for them both. An outstanding performance by Will Smith captures the struggle for survival and the self belief and determination to succeed in this emotionally turbulent journey.
A story of survival and triumph against the odds. I give it 4 out of 5 stars.
