Review of Purple Rain (1984) by Corey N — 10 May 2010
This is one of those films from the 80's that people liked or hated. I was not a fan of it. Sort of a musical movie. the story is about a young man with his band trying to make it in the music scene.
His personal life is rough due to his abusive father. Plus there is a love story in this as well. Overall the story and acting are not that great in this. What is great is the music in this. More of a movie for Prince fans.
I like some of his music but have to say this movie could have been much better.
