Review of Puppetmaster (1989) by John W — 29 Jul 2012
Bargain basement horror that developed quite a cult following and spawned a slew of sequels. Unfortunately, none were able to repeat the uniqueness of the original and while worth watching for cult/camp value, nothing new is really added.
The puppets are definitely the draw here and while they are the "bad guys" you can't help but laugh and cheer as they use their unique talents to cut and carve through their unbelievably oblivious victims.
