Review of Puppet Master 4 (1993) by Jason D — 15 Feb 2008
Things take a major turn for the Puppets in Puppet Master when all of a sudden they become the good guys of the film as they fight to destroy evil demon dolls from hell as well as some human bad guys in order to protect their human friend, Rick.
A lot of people didn't like this one (or Part 5 which directly follows this storyline) but I rather enjoyed 4 and 5 the most of the series. It's all just mindless fun and, hey, we get to see Ghost Toulon (Guy Rolfe) show up briefly.
Also, I am a sucker for Jeff Burr films. I think he is an underrated director. Anyways, pretty decent film.
