Blunt as anything, but oh so brilliant. I'm kind of glad I hadn't seen this when I made GO QUICKLY, as I would have followed very closely in its footsteps, and achieved a different sort of film as a result.
The achievement of making this with a crew of 10, and in particular, the efforts of DOP Joan Churchill are an inspiration to all.
