Review of Punisher: War Zone (2008) by Zak Z — 24 Sep 2010
In every way this movie is as brutal as it is disgusting. But guess what... that's what a Punisher movie should be.
The acting is OK, and the cast is good. The story is lackluster though and doesn't deliver any real character development, even though it seems to try hard at some point.
The musical score is... strange. It's like the creators couldn't decide if they want a classical score or a heavy metal mayhem. The music it self is fine but mixing it seems strange.
For a movie that is brutal and unforgiving it also has a LOT of cheesy moment's (like "Call me Jigsaw") ,locations and plot devices.
It's a one night stand movie. Watch it, tell your friends about it and then... forget it.
