Okay before I start my review for this film I am going to use example from years of the action of the same decade.

Punisher war zone tells the story of frank castle AKA the punisher in which we all know the tale about him seeking revenge on the gang members that had killed his family but in this one he seeks revenge after the death of an undercover FBI agent which a killer named billy russoti gets plastic surgery and switches his name to jigsaw we all know that name sounds familiar from the lionsgate horror film saw series which the punisher war zone is a lot more different than any other action than I have ever seen in my life (death scene and gore wise) overall this is a great action film highly recommeded when the film opened on december 5th 2008 the film opened at #8 because of the romantic christmas comedy four christmases then the film later was issued on one of IMDB's box office flop list but this is a great action film.

Film's rating: R for strong bloody violence throughout and language.
