Review of Punisher: War Zone (2008) by Savannah A — 25 Dec 2011

Yup the movie was HORRIBLE, I must agree, but I watch this movie almost everyday, well I would tell you how many times but I've already lost count. You know why, I loved the plot, I love the acting, I love Punisher Comics. But this movie had a horrible script, and some bad actors, like Angela and Grace Donatelli, horrible, just horrible actors. Ray Stevenson is an AMAZING actor, but the scrip director and probably all the people in there with half a brain made this movie just... awful. I mainly watched this movie because I am MADLY in love with Domenic West, yes.. yes I am, can't I say that? I do have a Hollywood crush, I've literally never had one before until I watched The Wire with Domenic West.

Let me tell you the good AND BAD of this movie, Good. 1. The Acting, most of the acting like Domenic West, Ray Stevenson, Doug Hutchinson, and a few others were pretty amazing acting, they were WELL in character. 2. The Plot. Yes the plot, I love the concept of it, and I don't even mind all the characters in there. 3. The Blood and Gore, I have an enormous living to blood and gore, and let me just say, it fits the bill!.

BAD. 1. Some other Acting. Like those two girls, Angela And Grace Donatelli. Horrible, just horrible acting. 2. Bad Script. There were a few AWESOME lines in there, but the script was on the iffy side. Some parts could've been left out of there. 3. Graphics and Designs. Well there is the designs on Jigsaws mask, he does look a little... eh, but I like it at least, not that bad. The graphics, sometimes a little OFF with it but it's okay. 4. Director. I hated her, really, also the script writers, the designers (mainly for the mask on Jigsaw). But they could've done A WHOLE LOT BETTER, but now is now, it was a long time ago and NOW we aren't able to take it back. 5. Accents. A lot of people say that Jigsaws and LBJs accents were AWFUL, no, no they were NOT. I will tell you something about "BAD ACCENTS" there was this one dude, remember Carlos in the film, hardly there and he's a friend of Micros. His ACCENT was awful "Are you coming or not?" that was his line, horrible, horrible, awful, just want to stab that thing.

If they DID remake this movie, remake it with Jigsaw, and most of the same actors... okay? A different Director, script writer... and a better choice of actors. I would probably watch that, but... only- JUST ONLY- if it had Jigsaw in it, and also Domenic West playing him... Punisher better be played by Ray Stevenson, and if they do make it, I want LBJ... Yes I adore that character, he's awesome, but... it doesn't have to be Doug... seriously, no... he's just a no-no now.

3/5 stars... this movie wasn't ALL that BAD, but... I will still watch it numerous of times.
