2 out of 5 stars. Even though I appreciate Adam Sandler's comedic and dramatic roles, Punch Drunk Love was a major let down. This movie never really goes anywhere for me. Sandler plays a guy named Barry who is an odd business owner who has difficulty relating to people.
A woman becomes romantically interested in Barry. As their relationship develops, complications occur as a result of a phone sex call Barry made prior to meeting her. One interesting fact about this film is that the part where Barry buys an excess amount of pudding to exploit a loophole in a frequent flier miles program is based on a true story.
