Review of Punch-Drunk Love (2002) by Hope K — 05 Apr 2012
Sweet, so sweet... Adam Sandler surprises (and for once, this is a good thing) with the repression and frustration he portrays-- it's something that all of us can relate to, at least in some measure.
The chemistry between Sandler and Watson is completely believable, the score is on the mark, and the direction produces some breathtaking moments. All in all, Punch-Drunk Love is a fantastic indie flick containing Adam Sandler's best work.
