Review of Punch-Drunk Love (2002) by Andii H — 10 Jun 2012

I'm not sure what to think of this movie. At times it's endearingly goofy and heartfelt, and at others, it's simply hard to watch. Sandler puts out a surprisingly great performance, helped along by the brilliantly crafted script by PTA.

At worst, it's one of the strangest films I've seen, and at best, it's a deceptively brilliant piece of filmmaking wrapped up in the guise of a Adam Sandler rom-com.
