Review of Punch-Drunk Love (2002) by Michael V — 08 Sep 2012
"I'm a PTA fan so of course i'm going to like/love it, this guy is an extrordinary filmmaker. Adam Sandler gives the performance of his career in this one, I might have said his best was in Funny People but he's excellent here, he uses both his comedic skills and hidden dramatic skills. While i'm a Sandler fan, I wish he could mix it up once in a while, do more serious roles cause quite frankly, he's really good. Emily Watson & funny-beautiful talented Mary Lynn Rajskub give great performances as well. PTA regulars Luis Guzman & Phillip Seymour Hoffman who has freaking awesome scenes with Sandler at the end are always great.".
"I wouldn't say Punch-Drunk Love is PTA weakest film because the guy consistently great films and this is another one but probably his most lesser film. Still, a great funny, pretty intense and crazy film.".
