Review of Punch-Drunk Love (2002) by Freeman M — 06 Aug 2013

I heard good things about this movie, but I didn't expect it to like it as much as I did. Sandler's outbursts are appropriately disturbing, but he tempers the performance as a deeply flawed person who still deserves some semblance of a happy ending.

The less I say about it from there, the better, but this is a rare romantic comedy I have no problem endorsing. And it even earned some laughs along the way, making this the funniest Adam Sandler movie I've ever seen.
