Overall this movie is just weird. It's over the top and tongue in cheek, and sometimes it's too much. Taken seriously, this film could be considered horribly insensitive and stupid. On the other hand, if it is taken as a comedy that is basically a parody of serious films with meaning, then it can be pretty funny.
Definitely shows that life just taken with a smile and no thought is not worth living.
