Review of Pulse (2001) by Amanda B — 26 Feb 2011

I understand that we're in the last point in time where technophobic film-making can be done, but for serious -- this film is just bad. It starts out dull, drifts briefly into cool and then fizzles.

I would say that showing the "monsters" constantly is a bad thing, but maybe it makes Pulse a good film for the 13+ set; regardless, the whole thing seems to have no point, and is a pretty big lull from beginning to end.

Doesn't change how much I love Kristen Bell, but seriously, skip it.
