Review of Pulp Fiction (1994) by Nat A — 12 Sep 2014
I guess I'll be the first to say it. This movie is a little overhyped. Not saying it isn't good but it gets a little too much credit. Although for its time period I feel it was indeed appropriate.
A movie that deals with multiple characters along multiple periods of time made it a little too choppy for my taste. But the Jackson's character was brilliant especially in the ending scene and the plot was got a little scrambled and lost in all the noise and juggling of characters as well.
But I do understand the overarching metaphors that were there that did give it some ground. Overall, not a good opener for the beginning of my exploration into Tarantino's films.
